Ventus Australis: The New Patagonian Cruise Ship
Australis, the only operator to offer regular cruises through the Patagonia region, will soon have a new ship. The 210-passenger Ventus Australis (Latin for “Southern Wind”) is joining the Stella Australis to complete a fleet of two ships that will be operating during the 2017- 2018 season in the Patagonian region. This state-of-the-art vessel was built by Asenav and will come equipped with the latest technologies concerning safety at sea and environmental protection.
The Ventus Australis will offer panoramic, floor-to-ceiling cabin windows, guided excursions, lectures, gourmet cuisine (that includes local dishes and wine from Argentina and Chile), and a free open bar.
The new ship will depart on January 2, 2018 and will offer a new destination known as the the Condor Glacier, offering expeditioners the opportunity to be amazed by the beautiful landscapes of the Patagonian region while observing its wildlife.
