Salta is known because of its colorful landscapes, its vineyards and its beautiful city. One of the most beautiful cities in this province is Cafayate.   We have combined a six day itinerary that combines the experience that revives the customs and traditions of the northern gauchos.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Salta                                                                                      (-/-/-)

Arrival at Salta’s airport. Assistance on arrival by one of our representatives, who will take you to Legado Mítico hotel. Our representatives will help you with the check-in procedures.

In its fine and classic environment, the simplicity and the current trends are combined.

Day 2: Salta                                                                                     (B/-/-)

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will depart to Cafayate to live a unique and unforgettable experience.
The tour starts from the Lerma Valley crossing fields of snuff and towns of colonial architecture such as Germany which used to be the endpoint of the Belgrano railway. Then, you will reach Quebrada de las Conchas, where wind and water erosion carved curious shapes on the rocks (The Amphitheater, Devil’s throat, The Toad, The Castles, among others).
After that, you will continue along the National Route nº68 to Cafayate, the youngest city of the Calchaquíes Valley, renowned internationally because of its wine strains, particularly the Torrontés that can be tasted in the visits to the wine cellars.

Day 3: Salta – General Güemes                                                      (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel. At the set time, you will be taken to the Estancia El Bordo de las Lanzas.
Located in the province of Salta, is one of the oldest estancias in the country; its property deeds date as far back as 1609.
Its owners, the Arias Cornejo family, personally welcome visitors to make their stay in the Estancia is an experience that allows travelers to really get to know Salta’s countryside, to share the authentic lifestyle of a working estancia and to learn in detail the history of the north of Argentina, a region rich in traditions and part of the battleground during the wars of independence.
At El Bordo de las Lanzas, you will certainly find comfort, warmth, history, nature, outdoor activities, excellent attention and a variety of authentic meals prepared with natural ingredients.

Day 4: General Güemes                                                                   (B/L/D)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will have some free time to enjoy the activities at the Estancia, such as: horseback riding, trekking, bird – watching, cattle roundups and other gaucho chores,  visit to the yacare-caiman reserve and to the different crop plantations, bicycle and sulky rides, cooking and typical dancing lessons, relaxation massages, among others; while enjoying a moment of peace and tranquility in a natural and typically argentine ambience.

Day 5: General Güemes                                                                    (B/L/D)

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will have some free time to enjoy the activities at the Estancia

Day 6: General Güemes – Salta - …                                                   (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the Estancia. At the set time you will be transferred to the Airport to take a flight to return home.
