Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Córdoba (-/-/-)
Arrival at Córdoba’s airport. Assistance on arrival by one of our representatives, who will take you to Azur Real Boutique hotel. Our representatives will help you with the check-in procedures. Day 2: Córdoba (B/-/-)
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will enjoy a City Tour around the most important places of the city. You will visit the historical city center, formed by the San Martín square, the Town Hall “Cabildo” and the Cathedral. Then you’ll arrive at Nueva Córdoba neighborhood, with its cultural centers, such as the Provincial Arts Museum Emilio Caraffa, the Fine Arts Museum Evita Perón and the elegant “Paseo del Buen Pastor”. The tour ends at the famous “Manzana Jesuítica” (the Jesuit Block), declared World Heritage Site, with its church “La Compañía de Jesús”, the chapel of the “Virgen de Lourdes”, the antique University, currently a museum of the history of UNC (National University of Córdoba), and the traditional Monserrat college. Day 3: Córdoba – Río Ceballos (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. At the set time, you will depart to visit the “Estancias Jesuíticas” (Jesuitical Ranches) The tour includes a visit at the most important Jesuits Ranches, declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. You will visit the “Estancia Jesuítica in Colonia Caroya”, which was used as a summer residence for students of the Monserrat College. After that, you will go to Jesús María, renowned for its “Festival de Doma y Folclore” (taming and folk music festival), where you will find the San Isidro Labrador Jesuit Ranch, pioneer in making wine in this area. Continuing your visit to the historical “Posta de Sinsacate” and the area of Barranca Yaco, where the famous political leader, "el caudillo", Facundo Quiroga was murdered in an ambush in 1834. Later, you will arrive at the Santa Catalina Jesuit Ranch, known for the beauty of its baroque style church’s front. You will continue bordering the Sierras Chicas, passing by the picturesque places of Ascocinga, La Granjas, Villa Animí, Agua de Oro, Salsipuedes and Río Ceballos. In Río Ceballos, you will be transferred to a typical argentine’s Estancia, Los Potreros. Assistance on arrival by one of our representatives who will help you with the check – in procedure.
Estancia Los Potreros is set in a beautiful reserve at the top of the Córdoba hills in the center of Argentina. The estancia dates from 1574 when breeding mules for the silver mines in Perú was the main activity. Today it is an idyllic retreat for horsemen and nature lovers. This organic working farm breeds Aberdeen-Angus cattle and Paso Peruano horses. Breakfast at the Estancia. At the set time you will be transferred to the Airport to take a flight to return home.
