Intinerary Description

DAY 01: LETICIA

Flight to Leticia. On arrival at Leticia airport, met and escorted for the transfer to Decameron Ticuna Hotel for accommodation. Lunch included and afternoon city tour; the market at the river shore and other places of interest will be visited.  Overnight.

DAY 02: LETICIA - AMACAYACU   

American breakfast and departure by motor boat up the Amazon River close to the town of Puerto Nariño, 80 Km away from Leticia. On the way, visit the Indian communities of the Yaguas and Ticunas, where you will learn how to make some crafts on your own, with fabrics and paints in traditional local products. Afterwards you will visit to the Monkey Island where passengers can observe hundreds of squirrel monkeys. Lunch boxes included. Arrival at the National park AMACAYACU, accommodation and dinner in the park.

DAY 03:  JUNGLE WALK

Breakfast and morning walk along the jungle to admire the vegetation of the area and the abundant bird life. Lunch included in the Park and afternoon by boat along the Amacayacu River and visit to the Native community of San Martin, belonging to the Ticuna indigenous. Return to the camp. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 04: PUERTO NARIÑO - TARAPOTO LAKES – LETICIA    

Breakfast and morning visit the nearby town of Puerto Nariño and the lakes of Tarapoto to observe the pink dolphins. Lunch included and continuation of the trip to return to Leticia. Overnight at the Decameron Ticuna Hotel.

DAY 05:   LETICIA - BOGOTA   

Breakfast and during the morning transfer to the airport for the flight back to Bogotá and connection to your next destination.
