This year, the Festival will have a social content since the tickets for all the events will be exchanged for powder milk to be donated to the Food Bank, to assist on catastrophes or to extremely poor or vulnerable populations. Undoubtedly tango and wine are two of the most representative cultural icons of Argentina, strongly linked to the tourism industry which is flocking more and more to the beautifully bucolic countryside of the Mendoza region, whose excellent climate, soil and temperature, have allowed for the growth of some of the best grapes, these turning into superior quality wines, well appreciated by experts around the world. Of particular fame are the Malbecs of Mendoza, considered nowadays among the best in the world. Wine and tango will unite once again around the majestic natural scenarios of the Mendoza area to provide locals and foreign visitors with a unique occasion to enjoy two very Argentinian passions which are popular around the world: the culture of tango, its music and unique dance representations, together with the best wines, wineries and vineyards. The Festival organizers expect visitors who come for this unique occasion will leave with a delicious “bouquet” of aroma, taste and happiness, the purposes that “Tango, along the Roads of Wine” seeks.
