At the arrival in Santiago, you will be received by one of our representatives, who will take you to the chosen hotel and help with the check-in procedures.
In: Day 1 Out: Day 2 – Hotel Grand Hyatt: Grand Hyatt Santiago is a 5 star luxury hotel in Santiago Chile. The hotel is located in an exclusive residential and business district Las Condes, offering easy access to Santiago city centre and Santiago de Chile’s international and domestic airports. Important ski resorts and the coastline are less than one hour away.
Or (Standard option) In: Day 1 Out: Day 2 – Hotel Atton El Bosque: Located in a modern 18-story building with 240 spacious and cozy climatized guest rooms with king or queen size beds, private bathroom, Cable TV, work desk, minibar and safe deposit box.
PM HD Private City Tour: At the scheduled time depart to a unique experience in Santiago, a half day city tour. The excursion to Santiago starts in the Civic Center and its neighborhood, continuing downtown to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Main Square known as Plaza de Armas. Here we can admire the surroundings of the Main Square and the artists that randomly appear to make theatrical numbers.
Later travel trough the typical streets of the Civic Center until we reach La Moneda Presidential Palace. The excursion will continue via metro (subway) to Santa Lucía Station; here we will visit the magnificent park Santa Lucia and its unique castle. If there is time visit Bellas Artes Museum which has an impressive architectural work. The excursion ends at Lastarria Neighborhood, a residential area with a neoclassic architecture from the beginning of the 20th century and cultural influence: art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, cultural centers and green areas.
Day 2: Santiago / Easter Island (B/L/D)
At the previously scheduled time you will be picked up at your hotel in Santiago to be taken to the airport to catch your departure flight. At arrival one of the hotels representative will be waiting for you at airport and take you to hotel.
In: Day 2 – Out: Day 5 – Hotel Explora Mike Rapu: This lodge was the first in South America to obtain LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the United States Green Building Council.
Opened in December 2007, and built on 9.6 hectares (23.7 acres) of land situated on a hill in the Te Miro Oone area, overlooking the ocean. This is in south-eastern Rapa Nui, 8 kilometers (4.9 miles) from Hanga Roa, the most populated part of the island.
All of the 30 rooms, which extend to the north and south from a central building, have excellent ocean views. The lodge has welcoming indoor spaces which integrate aspects of the local culture.
The design is intended to have minimal impact on its surroundings. The lodge is built on a site which is inappropriate for agricultural use and has no archaeological remains. The flora surrounding the lodge has been maintained intact.

PM HD Private City Tour Puerto Varas & Puerto Montt: Departure from the hotel to visit Puerto Varas, a city founded by German settlers. We will visit the Phillipi Hill, a municipal park containing many species of native trees and a beautiful viewpoint from where we can see the Bay of Puerto Varas and the city. We will drive through the residential neighborhood with its beautiful gardens, arriving at Calvario Hill, which provides another view of the city. We will pass through the downtown area where all the commercial activity and casino takes place. Then take the lakeside drive bordering Llanquihue Lake.
After seeing Puerto Varas we are heading towards Puerto Montt; capital of the 10th Region; where antique streets, people and typical architecture are predominant. Visit the small fishing port of Angelmó; with its handicraft fair and fish market, and the great variety of fish and shellfish. Watch the fishermen bringing their products in typical boats from the islands to sell them in town. Head up to the scenic overlooks giving different views of this prosperous city.
From there we are heading towards Chinquihue, city that borders the channel between the mainland and Tenglo Island. Once we get to the other side of the Puerto Montt we will visit Pelluco, considered as Puerto Montt’s seaside resort. We continue in direction to Chamiza; where the Chamiza River flows into the Seno de Reloncaví. This is an excellent area from which to observe shore birds. From here return to the hotel.
Day 7: Puerto Varas (B/L/-)
FD Private Excursion Caulin & Castro: Departure from hotel to the enchanting Chiloé Island. We start our trip, heading in direction to Puerto Montt and then off to Pargua, a small fishing village whose inhabitants work in the extraction of sea urchins. In Pargua we board a ferry to cross the Chacao Canal; where we have a chance to observe the great variety of marine birds, sea lions, and the playful dolphins that accompany us during the approximately 30 minute crossing.
Once we get to the island, the first town we are going to visit is Chacao, where we can notice the innumerable black-necked swans along with other shorebirds. Chacao, founded in 1567, and its church dating from 1710, were visited by Charles Darwin in 1834. In his book The Voyage of the Beagle he describes the town in several passages.
After a brief stop, we take a rural road to Caulin Bay, along one of the principal bird migration routes. A marine bird sanctuary has been established here and this allows us enjoy watching an incalculable number of species. While walking on the beach we have the possibility of meeting local residents and observe how they harvest seaweed, and transport their harvest over the beach on oxes.
The next stop will be the very heart of the archipelago of Chiloe, the beautiful city of Castro. The characteristical feature of this city, is the “house on stilts”, called palafitos; which gives the island a worldwide recognition. We are going to have lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the city’s main attractions such as the municipal market; where the local people sell the products they cultivate or create. Continue on to the plaza to enter and get to know one of the island’s wonders, the majestic Church of San Francisco de Castro, a world heritage site.
Day 8: Puerto Varas / Torres del Paine (B/L/D)
At the previously scheduled time, the passenger will travel from the city of Puerto Varas to the airport. Upon arrival a representative of the hotel will pick you up at airport and take you to hotel.
In: Day 8 – Out: Day 12 – Explora Salto Chico: Our lodge is located right at the heart of the extraordinary Torres del Paine National Park in central Patagonia. The varied and untouched landscapes of this area led UNESCO to declare it a biosphere reserve.
Our Patagonia hotel lodge opened in 1993 on the banks of the Salto Chico waterfall. It affords an excellent view of the unique Paine Massif and two of the three impressive torres, or towers, which give the park its name.

FD Private Casablanca & Valparaiso Excursion: Early departure from the hotel, we start the expedition to Casablanca Valley (45 minutes from Santiago). This place is one of Chile’s supreme wine regions, situated on the coastal valleys of the Valparaiso Region. Here we will visit one of the prominent vineyards called Matetic Vineyard, where we will taste wine and see the wine process. Leaving the valley, the excursion continues to the colorful city of Valparaiso (1 hour approximately from Casablanca Valley) declared by the UNESCO Cultural Heritage.
We will visit some historic places such as: Promenade Atkinson, Gervassoni, the famous Cafe Turri with the house of the cartoonist Lukas and the 21 de Mayo Viewpoint, the National Congress, Victoria and Sotomayor Square.
Also we are taking a ride in one of the historic funiculars to the top of the hill, where we will visit "La Sebastiana", another residence of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. In 1959, back from a long time in Venezuela, he requested Marie and Sara Vila to look for a place in Valparaíso where he could live and write in peace. To find a house meeting Neruda’s requirements wasn’t easy. It had to be on a hill, but next to the city, looking both at the sea and the town, “far from everything, but next to transportation”, with quiet neighbors, “lonely but not too much”, “light but firm”, “original but comfortable” and, above all, conveniently priced. After a long search, the structure of a big house that nobody wanted to buy appeared in Florida hill.
We will walk through a large number of alleys that cross Cerro Alegre; until we see “Paseo Yugoslavo”. Continuing the visitor, we will see the colorful houses that cascades down from the hills; visiting some of these as El Peral; Alegre and Concepción.

Day 14: Valparaiso / San Pedro de Atacama (B/L/D)
Casablanca Excursion & transfer to Santiago airport: Early departure from the hotel, we return to Casablanca Valley and visit Casas del Bosque Vineyard where we will also enjoy a lunch at the vineyard Restaurant, Tanino Restaurant (closed on Mondays). After lunch we return to Santiago airport to board flight to Calama. Upon arrival a representative of the hotel will assist you and take you to hotel.
